DTBird participated in the AWEA Wind Project Siting & Environmental Compliance Conference 2017 (organized by the American Wind Energy Association, now the American Clean Power Association – ACP), a specialized event focused on environmental compliance and wildlife protection in the US wind energy sector.

The conference took place from March 20 to 22, 2017, in Austin, Texas, bringing together environmental consultants, wind farm developers, regulators and renewable energy professionals.

Wind farm environmental compliance

The conference addressed key topics related to environmental permitting, biodiversity protection, wildlife monitoring and regulatory compliance for wind energy projects.

These issues are increasingly important for wind farm developers seeking to balance renewable energy generation with environmental protection requirements.

Wildlife monitoring technologies

During the event, attendees were able to learn about DTBird® and DTBat® technologies for bird and bat monitoring at wind farms.

The systems support wind farm environmental compliance strategies by helping operators reduce collision risks and improve wildlife monitoring programs.

Supporting biodiversity protection in wind energy

DTBird participation in the conference reinforced its commitment to developing technologies that support biodiversity protection and environmental compliance in the renewable energy sector.
