AWEA Wind Conference & Exhibition 2015

DTBird exhibited at AWEA Windpower Conference and Exhibition 2015

DTBird® and DTBat® were showcased at AWEA WINDPOWER 2015 Conference & Exhibition, held in Orlando, Florida (USA), from May 18 to 21, 2015.

Organized by the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA), now part of the American Clean Power Association (ACP), the event was one of North America’s leading wind energy conferences. It brought together developers, operators, turbine manufacturers, environmental consultants and technology providers from across the industry.

A leading wind energy event in North America

AWEA WINDPOWER 2015 provided an international forum for discussing the future of wind energy, environmental challenges, technological innovation and operational best practices.

The conference attracted professionals from the United States and international markets. As a result, it created opportunities for collaboration between the renewable energy sector and environmental stakeholders.

Industry leaders, project developers and technology companies shared experiences and discussed the challenges associated with the continued expansion of wind energy generation.

Presenting DTBird and DTBat technologies

The event provided an opportunity to present DTBird and DTBat systems to professionals involved in wind farm development, operation and environmental monitoring projects.

Visitors were able to learn about automated bird and bat monitoring solutions designed to support wildlife protection while facilitating the development and operation of wind energy projects.

DTBird combines automatic bird detection, collision risk assessment and mitigation measures to reduce bird mortality at wind farms. In addition, DTBat provides acoustic monitoring and bat protection solutions specifically developed for wind energy applications.

Together, both technologies contribute to improving the coexistence between renewable energy generation and biodiversity conservation.

Exchanging knowledge with wind energy professionals

The conference offered valuable opportunities to exchange knowledge with wind energy stakeholders, environmental specialists and project developers interested in wildlife monitoring technologies.

Furthermore, events such as AWEA WINDPOWER play an important role in sharing best practices, discussing environmental challenges and promoting innovative solutions for the wind energy sector.

Participants were able to explore new approaches to environmental monitoring and learn how technology can support biodiversity protection objectives without compromising renewable energy production.

Supporting sustainable wind energy development

Participation in international events allows DTBird to share experience gained from operational projects and contribute to discussions on bird and bat protection in wind farms.

Moreover, these events help strengthen collaboration between renewable energy developers, environmental experts and technology providers working towards common sustainability goals.

By presenting DTBird and DTBat at AWEA WINDPOWER 2015, the company reinforced its commitment to supporting sustainable wind energy development through innovative environmental monitoring technologies.

AWEA, now integrated into the American Clean Power Association (ACP), remains an important part of the history of wind energy development in the United States and has contributed significantly to the growth of the renewable energy sector.
