Meet DTBird at Vind 2015 in Stockholm

DTBird® participated in Vind 2015, one of Sweden’s leading wind energy events, held in Stockholm on November 4–5, 2015. Vind is organized by the Swedish Wind Energy Association and remains one of the most important annual meeting points for the Swedish wind energy sector.

Visitors had the opportunity to meet the DTBird team at Booth 34 and learn first-hand about the latest developments in bird monitoring and collision risk reduction technologies for wind farms.

Presenting new DTBird features

During the event, DTBird showcased new and improved system capabilities designed to support wildlife protection while maintaining efficient wind farm operation.

Attendees were able to discover the latest technological developments in automated bird detection, environmental monitoring and collision avoidance solutions.

Upgraded Stop Control Proposal for Eagles

Special attention was given to the upgraded Stop Control Proposal for Eagles, developed to help wind farm operators reduce collision risks for large raptor species.

The solution combines bird detection and operational mitigation measures to support biodiversity protection at wind energy facilities.

Supporting the Scandinavian wind energy market

Sweden has been one of the early markets for DTBird technology, with several installations and research projects contributing to the development of bird protection solutions for wind farms.

Participation in Vind 2015 provided an opportunity to exchange experiences with wind energy professionals, environmental experts and project developers from across Scandinavia.
