DTBird increases Data Analysis Platform server capacity by 16 times

DTBird® has expanded the capacity of its Data Analysis Platform servers by a factor of sixteen to support the continuous growth of its wildlife monitoring database and ensure access to historical flight records for all clients.

The DTBird Data Analysis Platform service was launched in June 2012 to provide secure storage, management and analysis of bird flight data collected by DTBird systems installed at wind farms worldwide.

Supporting a growing environmental database

Since its launch, the platform has continuously accumulated environmental monitoring information from operational wind farms. At the time of this upgrade, the database already stored more than 100,000 recorded bird flights.

The server expansion ensures that historical monitoring data remains available for environmental assessments, performance reviews and long-term biodiversity studies.

Improved data storage and analysis capabilities

By increasing server capacity sixteenfold, DTBird strengthens the reliability and scalability of its data management infrastructure. The upgrade supports larger datasets, faster processing and improved access to monitoring information.

These improvements help operators, environmental consultants and project developers access valuable wildlife monitoring records collected over multiple years of operation.

Long-term commitment to environmental monitoring

The DTBird Data Analysis Platform plays an important role in supporting bird monitoring programs associated with wind energy projects. Maintaining access to historical flight information enables better understanding of bird activity patterns and contributes to informed environmental management decisions.

As monitoring databases continue to grow, DTBird remains committed to providing reliable tools for data storage, analysis and biodiversity monitoring in the renewable energy sector.
