DTBird national power outage company announcement

National Power Outage at the DTBird Office

Today at 12.30 CET, DTBird faced a national power outage affecting all mobile & internet communications. Electrical power is being restored late in the evening across all regions, including Madrid, where we are based.

Impact on DTBird & DTBat operations

Although this national power outage in Spain caused disruptions to digital communications, our systems designed for wind farms continue operating as expected. DTBird & DTBat units installed worldwide are equipped with autonomous on-site hardware, ensuring continuous bird and bat monitoring even during large-scale infrastructure interruptions.

During the next hours, our technical team will verify that all systems remain stable and that automatic data synchronisation resumes correctly as soon as broadband services return. Remote access from the Office and from home may experience delays, but this situation does not affect the operational behaviour of our detection, monitoring, or deterrence modules.

Support for clients and partners

We apologize for the inconvenience caused and for any meetings or email communications that may have been postponed during the outage. Clients who need urgent assistance can contact our support team using any of the alternative channels available on our Contact page.

As soon as connectivity is fully restored nationwide, our teams will resume regular communication, technical checks, and scheduled follow-ups. We appreciate your patience while national operators complete the restoration process.

Back to normal operations soon

Our daily operations and internal systems are expected to be back online as soon as possible. We will publish an additional update if any relevant change occurs or if the Spanish authorities issue further information about the national power outage.

Thank you for your understanding.
